Online Privacy Notice

1. Introduction

1. Web Site Owner. The Iron Lion, LLC (“The Iron Lion”) is the owner of this web site (“theironlionvault.com"). The Iron Lion can be contacted by phone at 719-424-7264, or by e-mail at info@ironlioncollectibles.com. This online privacy notice discloses The Iron Lion information practices for this Iron Lion Web Site, including what type of personal identifiable information is requested in order to make a purchase, how the information is used, and with whom the information is shared. Note that other The Iron Lion web sites may be governed by privacy notices containing different information practices applicable to those sites.
2. Web Site Visits. The Iron Lion collects certain information from The Iron Lion Web Site visitors. This includes, but is not limited to, the home server domain name, e-mail address, type of computer and web browser, what pages visitor accessed, and limited information about search requests. This information is used to solve technical problems and to calculate overall usage statistics.
3. Web Site Transactions. At times, The Iron Lion will need personal information regarding a customer or a prospect. For example, to process an order or provide a subscription, The Iron Lion may need to know a customer's name, mailing address, e-mail address and credit card details. It is The Iron Lion’s intent to inform you before The Iron Lion collects personal information, such as user's name and/or address on the Internet. If you tell us that you do not wish to have this information used as a basis for further contact with you, The Iron Lion will respect your wishes.

2. Personal Information That May Be Collected

1. Identifying Information. In order to access designated subscriber services and/or restricted areas within the Iron Lion Web site, The Iron Lion will request a user to provide certain personal identifying information, which may include: name, postal address, e-mail address, screen name, password, telephone number, facsimile number, method of payment, and, if applicable, credit card number. The Iron Lion may request additional information necessary to establish and maintain customer's account.
2. Service Quality Monitoring. Some Web site transactions may require a customer to telephone The Iron Lion, or The Iron Lion to call the customer. The Iron Lion will not contact you by telephone without your prior consent, except to confirm an order placed online and/or to inform a customer of the status of such order. Customer should be aware that it is The Iron Lion’s practice to monitor, and in some cases record such calls for staff training or quality assurance purposes.
3. Information from Children. We strive to educate parents and kids about how to appropriately safeguard their privacy when using our Services. We are committed to complying with laws such as the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (“COPPA”), which requires us to inform parents and legal guardians about our information collection and use practices. COPPA also requires that we obtain parental consent before we allow children under the age of 13 to access and/or use our Services. We urge kids to check with their parents before entering information through our Site and/or Services, and we recommend that parents discuss with their kids restrictions regarding the online release of personal information (as defined herein) to anyone they don’t know. By visiting our Site and/or using our Services, or by permitting your child to use our Services, you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the accompanying Terms of Use. Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning set forth in our Terms of Use. The Iron Lion does not collect or maintain information from users actually known to be under the age of 13, and no part of Iron Lion’s Web sites are structured to attract anyone under the age of 13.
4. Lost or Stolen Information. If a customer's password is lost or stolen, the customer should promptly notify The Iron Lion in order to enable The Iron Lion to cancel the lost or stolen information and to update its records with a changed password.
5. Chat Rooms, Forums and Bulletin Boards. If customer participates in an The Iron Lion chat room, discussion forum, or posts messages to an The Iron Lion bulletin board, customer should be aware that the information disclosed and shared will be broadly available to other persons, both inside of and/or outside The Iron Lion, who have access to that chat room, forum or bulletin board. Some individual The Iron Lion chat rooms, forums or bulletin boards have additional rules and conditions regarding participation. Also, participant's expressed opinion is his or her own and should not be considered as reflecting the opinion of The Iron Lion.
6. Links to Other Web Sites. An The Iron Lion Web site may contain links to other web sites. The Iron Lion is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those other Web sites.
7. Usage Data.  The Iron Lion may also collect information how the Iron Lion Web site is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's IP address, browser type, browser version, the pages of the Iron Lion Web site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
8. Location Data. The Iron Lion may use and store information about your location if provided (“Location Data”). We use this data to provide features regarding the Iron Lion Web site, to improve and customize the Iron Lion Web site.  You can enable or disable location services when you use our Service at any time, through your device settings.

1. Limited Uses Identified. Without customer's prior consent, The Iron Lion will not use your personal identifiable information for any purpose other than that for which it is submitted. The Iron Lion uses personal identifiable information to reply to inquiries, handle complaints, provide operational notices and in program record-keeping. The Iron Lion also processes billing and business requests related to The Iron Lion Web Site participation
2. Marketing Uses. The Iron Lion reserves the right to provide customer with information about The Iron Lion’s Web site, The Iron Lion products and services, newsletters, promotional materials and/or other information in which customer has indicated an interest.  You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send.
3. Stored Information Uses. The Iron Lion stores and retains the information entered on the Iron Lion Web site. This information is used to compile a customer's purchase history in order to enable The Iron Lion to recommend products, services, or special offers that would be of interest to a customer.
4. Online Advertising. Some companies that help The Iron Lion deliver interactive on-line advertising, such as banner ads, may collect and use information about The Iron Lion’s customers to help The Iron Lion better understand the types of advertising or promotions that are most appealing to The Iron Lion’s customers. After it is collected the information is aggregated so it is not identifiable to a specific individual. If, however, customer would prefer that these companies not collect such information, please mark an "x" on the opt-out option box herein provided.

2. Disclosure of the Information

1. Within Corporate Organization. The Iron Lion is a multijurisdictional organization, with legal entities, business processes, management structures, and technical systems that cross borders. The Iron Lion may share your personal information within the Iron Lion corporate organization, and may transfer the information to countries in the world where The Iron Lion conducts business. Some countries may provide less legal protection for customer personal information. In such countries The Iron Lion will still handle customer personal information in the manner described herein.
2. Mergers and Acquisitions. For the purpose of developing and expanding its business, The Iron Lion may share, rent, sell or buy business assets. In such transactions, customer information is generally one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the event The Iron Lion is acquired, customer information will be one of the transferred assets.
3. Agents. The Iron Lion employs or engages other companies and individuals to perform business functions on behalf of The Iron Lion. These persons are provided with personal identifying information required to perform their functions, but are prohibited by contract from using the information for other purposes. These persons engage in a variety of functions which include, but are not limited to, fulfilling orders, delivering packages, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments and providing customer services.
4. Affiliated Businesses. The Iron Lion works closely with affiliated businesses operating web site stores, providing services or selling products on each other's Web sites. These businesses identify themselves to customers. Customer information related to a transaction with an affiliated business is shared with that affiliated business.
5. Marketing Analysis by Third Parties. The Iron Lion reserves the right to disclose to third parties personal information about customers for marketing analysis; however, any information disclosed will be in the form of aggregate data that does not describe or identify an individual customer.
6. Disclosure to Governmental Authorities. The Iron Lion may release personal information to appropriate governmental authorities where release is required by law (for example, a subpoena) or by a regulation, or is requested by a government agency conducting investigations or proceedings.

3. Use of Computer Tracking Technologies

1. No Tracking of Personal Information. The Iron Lion’s Web Site(s) are not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by visitors. Through web site access logs The Iron Lion does collect clickstream data and HTTP protocol elements, which generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our sites. This information is used for internal purposes by technical support staff for research and development, user analysis and business decision making, all of which provides better services to the public. The statistics garnered, which contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information, may also be provided to third parties.
2. Use of Cookies. The Iron Lion, or its third-party vendors, collects non-identifiable and personal information through the use of various technologies, including "cookies." A cookie is an alphanumeric identifier that a Web site can transfer to customer's hard drive through customer's browser. The cookie is then stored on customer's computer as an anonymous tag that identifies the customer's computer, but not the customer. Cookies may be sent by The  Iron Lion or its third-party vendors. Customer can set its browser to notify customer before a cookie is received, giving an opportunity to decide whether to accept the cookie. Customer may also set its browser to turn off cookies; however, some Web sites may not then work properly.  Examples of cookies that may be used on the Iron Lion Web site include Session Cookies, Preference Cookies, Security Cookies, and Advertising Cookies.
3. Use of Web Beacon Technologies. The Iron Lion may also use Web beacon or other technologies to better tailor its Web site(s) to provide better customer service. If these technologies are in use, when a visitor accesses these pages of the Web site, a non-identifiable notice of that visit is generated which may be processed by The Iron Lion or by its suppliers. Web beacons usually work in conjunction with cookies. If customer does not want cookie information to be associated with customer's visits to these pages, customer can set its browser to turn off cookies; however, Web beacon and other technologies will still detect visits to these pages, but the notices they generate cannot be associated with other non-identifiable cookie information and are disregarded.
4. Collection of Non-Identifiable Information. The Iron Lion may collect non-identifiable information from user visits to the Iron Lion Web site(s) in order to provide better customer service. Examples of such collecting include: traffic analysis, such as tracking of the domains from which users visit, or tracking numbers of visitors; measuring visitor activity on The Iron Lion Web site(s); Web site and system administration; user analysis; and business decision making. Such information is sometimes known as "clickstream data." The Iron Lion or its contractors may use this data to analyze trends and statistics.
5. Collection of Personal Information. The Iron Lion collects personal identifying information from customer during a transaction. The Iron Lion may extract some personally identifying information about that transaction in a non-identifiable format and combine it with other non-identifiable information, such as clickstream data. This information is used and analyzed only at an aggregate level (not at an individual level) to help The Iron Lion understand trends and patterns. This information is not reviewed at an individual level.

4. Information Security

1. Commitment to Online Security. The Iron Lion intends to protect customer personal information and to maintain its quality. To achieve information security and quality, The Iron Lion implements appropriate measures and processes, such as using encryption when transmitting certain sensitive information.
2. No Liability for Acts of Third Parties. The Iron Lion will exercise all reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of customer personal information. However, transmissions protected by industry standard security technology and implemented by human beings cannot be made absolutely secure. Consequently, The Iron Lion shall not be liable for unauthorized disclosure of personal information due to no fault of The Iron Lion including, but not limited to, errors in transmission and unauthorized acts of The Iron Lion staff and third parties.

5. Privacy Policy Changes and Opt-Out Rights

1. Changes to Privacy Policy. The Iron Lion reserves the right to update its privacy policy statement at any time. A notice of any material change will be posted on the The Iron Lion Web site home page for thirty (30) days prior to the implementation of such change. There are two boxes at the end of Iron Lion’s notice of change: (1) an "I accept" box, and (2) an "I do not accept" box. If customer does not mark the "I do not accept" box, customer will be deemed to have accepted The Iron Lion’s privacy policy updates.
2. Opt-Out Right. Customer and prospective customer has the right at any time to cease permitting personal information to be collected, used or disclosed by  The Iron Lion and/or by any third parties with whom The Iron Lion has shared and/or transferred such personal information. Right of cancellation may be exercised by contacting The Iron Lion via e-mail at Info@ironlioncollectibles.com, telephone or postal mail. After processing the cancellation, The Iron Lion will delete customer or prospective customer's personal information from its data base.
1. Shine the Light Law (For California residents). Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents who have an established business relationship with The Iron Lion may choose to opt out of our sharing their contact information with third parties for direct marketing purposes.  If you are a California resident and you wish to opt out, please send an email to Info@ironlioncollectibles.com.

6. Access Rights to Data

1. Information Maintained by The Iron Lion. Upon customer's request, The Iron Lion will provide a reasonable description of customer's personally identifiable information that The Iron Lion maintains in its data bank. The Iron Lion can be contacted by e-mail at Info@ironlioncollectibles.com, or telephone at 719-424-7264.
2. Corrections and Changes to Personal Information. Help The Iron Lion to keep customer personal information accurate. If customer's personal information changes, or if customer notes an error upon review of customer information that The Iron Lion has on file, please promptly e-mail The Iron Lion at info@ironlioncollectibles.com and provide the new or correct information.
3. Your California Privacy Rights. Beginning on January 1, 2005, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits customers of The Iron Lion who are California residents to request certain information regarding The Iron Lion’s disclosure of personal information for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please write to: Info@ironlioncollectibles.com. Within 30 days of receiving such a request, The Iron Lion will provide a list of the categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for third-party direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year, along with the names and addresses of these third parties. This request may be made no more than once per calendar year. The Iron Lion reserves its right not to respond to requests submitted other than to the address specified in this paragraph.

California’s privacy laws require a company to provide notice to California users of their rights to receive information on to which entities their information was shared for marketing purposes.

If The Iron Lion is unable to resolve your complaint to your reasonable satisfaction or if customer does not receive acknowledgment of an inquiry, customer may elect to proceed by contacting .
2. Terms of Use. If customer chooses to subscribe to The Iron Lion’s services, customer's action is hereby deemed acceptance of The Iron Lion practices described in this policy statement. Any dispute over privacy between customer and The Iron Lion is subject to the provisions of this notice and to The Iron Lion’s Terms of Use Agreement which is hereby incorporated herein.
