How do football group breaks work at The Iron Lion?

The rules around football box breaks for sale are typically a little differently from place to place. Here’s how we do things:

At The Iron Lion, you can buy football card group breaks in a few ways – Pick Your Team (PYT), Random Team, and Random Hit.

  • PYT: Pick a team and you’ll receive all the cards from that specific team. Teams are priced differently depending on the checklist and certain players on that team.
  • Random Team: Similar to PYT, but all collectors pay the same buy-in price and are assigned a team at random.
  • Random Hit: We randomize all the items from the break and the names of people who bought in to match up with each other. The items your name are matched with is what you walk away with.

    • If you’re participating from out of state, we’ll ship all your cards to you. If you live in or around Colorado Springs, we invite you to come pick your cards up in person!
