2021-22 Panini Prizm Basketball marks the tenth year for the blockbuster brand. Although not a complete carryover from last year, collectors will find a lot of the same elements on the 2021-22 Panini Prizm Basketball checklist as past sets. That includes a comprehensive base set, a couple of autographs per hobby box and a generous number of inserts.
And don’t forget the Prizms parallels. The checklist has lots of color, especially when you branch out into the set’s various hobby and retail configurations.
2021-22 Panini Prizm Basketball Checklist Overview
The base set features a range of vets and rookies. It’s one of those products where all base cards are available in equal quantities. Collectors don’t need to worry about chasing short prints in order to finish their sets. Historically with Prizm, RCs carry strong values compared to other sets that don’t carry premium elements like autographs or memorabilia.
However, the big draw with Prizm is its vast parallel rainbow. Prizms combine to land 22 per hobby box, which works out to roughly two per pack unless there’s an autograph. Hobby and retail have several different box and pack types, each with their own mix of colors and patterns. For standard hobby, Mojo, Gold, Black Gold and Black Prizms are all hobby exclusives.
One of the places to find additional exclusives is Fast Break boxes. These have a variety of Prizms that have small circles running through the background. Levels include:

Autographs and Inserts
A trio of autograph inserts are available in 2021-22 Panini Prizm Basketball hobby boxes.
Rookie Signatures, which is a hobby-exclusive, covers the season’s first-year players.
Veterans can be found in both Sensational Signatures and Flashback Signatures, which take it back to the original 2012-13 Panini Prizm Basketball base design.
For all three, additional parallels are available.
Hobby boxes have 10 total additional inserts.
Fearless, Widescreen and Fireworks are all back for another year.
The 2021-22 Panini Prizm Basketball checklist has a couple of hoops debuts as well with Mindset and Prizmatic.
The NBA’s 75th Anniversary is the foundation for a couple of chase sets, 75 Years of the NBA and 75th Anniversary Logo.
