2024 Topps Superstars MLS is a colorful set of soccer cards that features plenty of color and big designs, not to mention some high-end Lionel Messis.

Available in multiple configurations, boxes come with a broad mix of both inserts and parallels. Autographs and memorabilia cards are available as well, although they’re not the central focus and aren’t guaranteed box hits.

2024 Topps Superstars MLS Checklist Overview

The base set has 200 cards covering key stars and rookies from across MLS. Cards have a lot of parallels at a variety of levels:

• Common Yellow – 2 per pack
• Uncommon Green – 1:2 packs
• American Dream – 4 per value box
• Rare Ice Spot – 1:6 packs
• Sunset – 1:4 hanger packs
• Molten Rare Fire Spot – 1:12 packs
• Ultra Rare Purple – /99
• Golden Gold – /50
• Seismic Orange – /25

Joining these are a handful of Chrome versions as well:

• Classic – /20
• Iconic – /10
• Legendary – /5
• Sheer Perfection – 1/1

But wait, there’s more. Image Variations land one per pack and have their own Ultra Rare (/99) parallels as well.

Autographs, Memorabilia Cards and Other Inserts

Leading off the traditional hits are the aptly named Superstars Relics, Autographs and Autograph Relics. The memorabilia-only versions are exclusive to blaster-style value boxes and have four levels of parallels numbered to 75 and under. Color versions for Superstars Autographs are all Refractors: Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Blue (/10), Red Wave (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).

World’s Greatest Jumbo Relics have oversized swatches. Parallels are limited to Light Blue (/10), Neon Pink (/5) and Superfractors (1/1). There are also and autographed version that has its own Superfractor (1/1).

Inserts average out to one or more per pack. Beast Mode and Epic Performances are the most common with both landing 1:2 packs. Not far behind are Time to Shine (1:6 packs), which have additional Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Blue (/10), Red (/5) and Foilfractor (1/1) parallels. Time to Shine also has autographs.

Final Boss are a little tougher but at 1:12 packs, collectors are still likely to find a pair in every hobby box. Refractors come in Orange (/25), Blue (/10), Red Wave (/5) and Superfractors (1/1). Signed versions are also available for some players.

MLS Legacy are die-cut cards that are one per hobby box.

For those looking for a chase, World’s Greatest are case hits 1:288 hobby packs. It’s a single-card set highlighting Lionel Messi.
