2025 Topps Tier One remains one of the company’s premier high-end products every year, and with several new additions in 2025, collectors can expect another memorable release.
Hobby boxes deliver four cards – two autographs, one relic card, and one base or base parallel.
2025 Topps Tier One Baseball Checklist Overview
In 2024, Topps gave Tier One a base set for the first time since 2011, and collectors will again have base cards and parallels to complement the big hits in 2025 – including an expanded slate of Tier 1 (Legends) and Tier 2 (Veterans) parallels.
The third tier of the base set is home to rookies.
The primary focus, however, remains on hard-signed autographs and game-used relic cards.
Among the new autograph sets in the product are:
- Top Shelf Signatures
- City Connect Signatures
- Tier One Shots
Another new set, Clearly Perfect Autographs, combines paper and acetate design elements, and Topps indicates these cards will have autograph variations.
Multiple signers from the product have shared images of cards on social media, including:
- Larry Walker, who displayed Montreal Expos autographs
- Adam Jones, who showcased Baltimore Orioles autographs
- Mike Trout, who is an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, has the Super Bowl LIX score written on his bat knob
- Evan Longoria, who snapped a photo of his 1/1 Bat Knob card, which features a Charizard Pokemon sticker and is expected to be among the top chases from the product
A new MLB Bat Knob Sticker Autograph set features game-used bat knobs that includes a sticker that pictures a player’s 2024 Topps flagship base card.
Other autographed relic sets include:
- Tier One Autographed Limited Lumber
- All-Star Jumbo Patch Autographs
- Autographed Prodigious Patches
There are also many memorabilia sets in the product, including the return of multi-swatch cards and 1/1 Bat Knobs.
Topps also announced the return of Cut Signatures.
Notable historical figures mixed in with baseball legends include Harry Houdini, Thomas Edison, George Patton, Marlon Brando, Charles Dickens, Richard Nixon, and Ulysses S. Grant.
There are also Cut Signature Relics, which add a memorabilia relic. Babe Ruth headlines the checklist, which also includes Henry Aaron, Roberto Clemente, and Willie Mays.
